Telling the Gulf's Stories
We will take audiences across three nations and 5,000 miles by kayak, boat, and plane to explore the Gulf—the largest of its kind in the world and home to over 15,000 species. This multifaceted project will highlight fragile ecosystems such as coral reefs, wetlands, and barrier islands and conservation success stories, from the Gulf Sturgeon to Mexico’s River of Raptors.

Reaching a Broad Audience
Co-Produced with Austin PBS and an estimated release in 2029, Chasing the Tide: Circumnavigating the Gulf will not only showcase the natural and cultural richness of the Gulf through a documentary series, book, podcast, and learning resources, but also inspire action to conserve and restore land, water, and wildlife on a grand scale.
By supporting this project, donors will help amplify a vital message of resilience, interconnectedness, and hope—reaching millions of viewers through PBS, community events, and digital platforms. You’ll not only help bring this story to life but also be recognized as a partner in conservation storytelling.
